PSA Group vans win international VOTY title

A quartet of electric vans from the PSA Group have been selected as the International Van of the Year 2021 by a jury from 24 countries, writes Brian Byrne . They are the Peugeot e-Expert, Citroën ë-Dispatch (the Jumpy nameplate used in Europe), Opel Vivaro-e, and Vauxhall Vivaro-e. They have a range of up to 330kms in their extended range versions, which was a significant factor in their win. The vans are designed around the EMP2 multi- energy platform to offer zero emission mobility for the passenger car as well as LCV markets. The electric vans are due in Ireland during the first half of 2021.  

New decals, logos service from Volkswagen CVs

Buyers of Volkswagen commercial vehicles can now design their own decals and signage and have them ready to put on their new vans, thangs to an Irish company, Rocksteady, writes Brian Byrne . Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Ireland has teamed up with Rocksteady, which means the decals and company logos can already be applied to new vans coming out of the showroom. "The software cuts out all the middle men, delivering better quality signs, in less time, at a lower cost," says Rocksteady CEO Brian Kane. "This exciting new accessory will allow for a one stop shop for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles customers." Pricing from €275 including VAT for the Caddy.
