First VW ID.3 cars arrive in Dublin

The first ID.3 models have rolled onto the quays at Dublin Port and will be making their way to pre-bookers in the coming weeks.

The ID.3 1st Edition is a specially equipped version of the 58kW version of the ID.3 (WLTP range of 410-424km).

Volkswagen Ireland Brand Director Rodolfo Calixto said the arrival of the car marks a new era for the Volkswagen brand globally, but now the ID.3 is here in Ireland and it was 'very special' to witness these cars arriving into Dublin.”

Using the high-low side driver IR2110 - explanation and plenty of example circuits

In many situations, we need to use MOSFETs configured as high-side switches. Many a times we need to use MOSFETs configured as high-side and low-side switches. Such as in bridge circuits. In half-bridge circuits, we have 1 high-side MOSFET and 1 low-side MOSFET. In full-bridge circuits we have 2 high-side MOSFETs and 2 low-side MOSFETs. In such situations, there is a need to use high-side drive circuitry alongside low-side drive circuitry. The most common way of driving MOSFETs in such cases is to use high-low side MOSFET drivers.
