ViewSonic Corp. officially introduces the new 15.6-inch mobile screen product line including touch version TD1655 and non-touch version VG1655. ViewSonic mobile displays provide the solution of connecting to laptops, tablets, smart phones and game consoles via a single cable. The product integrates dual USB Type-C ports with the ability to support 60W power transmission capacity, allowing users to charge devices while streaming content.

Mobile Design

Both mobile screen products are 15.6 inches in size, weighing less than 1 kg and thickness of just 6mm. Therefore, users can easily bring this screen to anywhere for work and entertainment. The product features a built-in stand that allows customization of the tilt angle and auto-rotate.

2-Way Power With Dual USB Type-C Port

Unlike many mobile screen devices on the market today, ViewSonic's mobile screen product line is integrated with a 60W fast charger (Power Delivery). The product is equipped with dual USB Type-C connectors, users can transmit video and audio or use it as a two-way source in both ports. Directly connect the laptop to the mobile screen to power and transfer content with a cable or vice versa, users can also charge the laptop when connecting the mobile screen to the power adapter on the other USB port.

Compatible With Multiple Operating Systems

ViewSonic mobile monitors are all compatible and work well with the most popular operating systems today such as Windows, Android, Chrome and Mac. Therefore, the product can connect to many different types of devices such as laptops, tablets, smart mobile phones and game consoles.

Touch screen TD1655 is reference price 7,990,000 VND and VG1655 mobile screen is 6,150,000 VND. Both products are expected to be sold in Vietnam in October 2020.

Using the high-low side driver IR2110 - explanation and plenty of example circuits

In many situations, we need to use MOSFETs configured as high-side switches. Many a times we need to use MOSFETs configured as high-side and low-side switches. Such as in bridge circuits. In half-bridge circuits, we have 1 high-side MOSFET and 1 low-side MOSFET. In full-bridge circuits we have 2 high-side MOSFETs and 2 low-side MOSFETs. In such situations, there is a need to use high-side drive circuitry alongside low-side drive circuitry. The most common way of driving MOSFETs in such cases is to use high-low side MOSFET drivers. N-Channel MOSFET High-Side Drive: When, Why and How?

I had previously shown how to drive N-channel MOSFETs in low-side configuration. So, here I’ll talk about N-channel MOSFET high-side drive. Let’s first look at the common low side configuration.  Fig. 1 - N-channel MOSFET configured as low-side switch Now let’s look at a MOSFET configured as a high-side switch. Fig. 2 - N-channel MOSFET configured as high-side switch You can quite easily see the difference between the high-side configuration and the low-side configuration. In the low-side configuration, the load is connected between the drain and +V, while the source is connected to ground. Thus, the gate drive is referenced to ground.
