Apple is expected to officially announce the iPhone 12 ( iPhone 2020 ) models next month. Although the company has not officially revealed the launch date, a recent report has confirmed that it is possible that the arrival of new iPhone devices will be delayed by several weeks.

Apple products have always been widely interested in users, and more and more information about these devices continues to appear on the web. With the latest news, the company Win Semiconductor has now begun manufacturing and shipping the ToF sensor along with the LiDAR scanner to Apple.

For the uninitiated, the upcoming iPhone 12 models are said to come with LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors. This is a miniature 3D scanner, works with the same principle as the ToF camera but with higher accuracy.

This isn't the first time Apple has opted for LiDAR sensors on its devices. The company started using LiDAR technology on this year's iPad Pro with a ToF sensor. According to leaked information, not all versions of iPhone 12 will come with this technology.

Win Semiconductor currently has capacity of 41,000 units per month. If iPhone sales are better than expected, the company will likely receive more orders from Apple in the fourth quarter of this year.

Which version of the iPhone 12 do you think will use this new technology? Please leave your predictions below.
